![]() ![]() Obviously, there are worse problems a coach could have. (Ya heard me, Kyrie, I said it.) It's possible with his improving jumper that he could see a little bit of time at the 3, but - and yall are gonna have to trust me on this one - that really doesn't make a lot of sense with the stable wings that the Spaniards can throw out. Let the big men feast!įor as many warm and fuzzies as I get from the idea of the Gasol brothers playing alongside one another, Coach Juan Antonio Orenga is going to have to figure out how to keep Ibaka on the floor for more than 20 minutes a game: he's very possibly the most gifted athlete playing in this tournament not named Derrick Rose. This is how you atone for what happened against Germany. *Another one to keep an eye on: how will Brazil deal with their Cerberusian logjam at the 5-spot with Splitter, Varejao, Nene? Those guys aren't power forwards. How the Spaniards' frontline rotation shakes out will be one of the storylines to watch throughout the tournament.* Ibaka has the dubious distinction of being the highest ranked international player who's definitely not going to start on his country's team (that spot is reserved for our 13th selection, Pau Gasol). Nutrition Info (Per serving) – Sauce Only Sure you can use avocado oil but I’d stay clear from coconut oil since it does have quite a strong flavour. I think olive oil would be the best bet for this recipe. But honestly you can use any cooking fat of your choice. In my video I used bacon fat to cook everything and that’s because I had some left over. I think if you are on a low carb diet this is definitely more suited to that lifestyle but it’s still pretty Keto friendly. It really depends on how strict a version of Keto you are doing. That will definitely still be a tasty sauce. Now obviously if you want to lower the carbs in this sauce you can skip the onions and garlic and just let it be pure peppers. You can throw that in some mayo to make a sandwich spread or a salad dressing. If you reduce it and cook it down to an almost jammy texture it becomes like a ‘pesto’ almost. I think if you had a nice piece of fish or pork this sauce would go great over that as well. This sauce has great texture and flavour. For example I did a Keto pot roast where I blended the vegetables to thicken the sauce. The technique of roasting vegetables and then blending them is something that can be applied to a lot of dishes. Now if you feel the fat content is low for the dish you can throw in a few extra knobs of butter to up the fat content of the dish. So all that adds a bit more to the sauce especially for a savory dish like this. So when you cook the chicken there are little brown bits left in the pan called ‘fond’ and that’s flavour. I cook the sauce a bit more because I want to get in some of the flavors from the chicken. I mean you can just add the cream and cheese and pour the sauce over any dish or some pasta. Honestly since the ingredients are roasted already once you blend it the sauce is ready. Blending them all and straining it gives us a silky smooth texture. We also roast the onions and garlic just to add to that lovely sweetness. So weigh the pros and cons and take a call. This definitely saves you time but is a bit messier. This is a method we use in my Keto baba ganoush and baingan bharta recipe for the eggplant. Alternatively you can roast them on the stove top. I roasted my red bell peppers in the oven which is the most fuss free way. ![]()
